The Beyond Inclusion Team
The Beyond Inclusion project brings together a transnational consortium from 5 EU countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain and Cyprus), involving 8 expert organizations with complementary experience and expertise.
Under the circumstances of the pandemic, the partners are conducting videoconferences regularly, discussing the issues and the upcoming activities of the Beyond Inclusion project.

Militos has expertise in the conceptualisation, development and operation of new and sustainable entrepreneurship schemes, train-the-trainer methodologies, interactive e-learning tools, online immersive games and mobile applications.
Militos holds extensive experience and expertise in mobilising communities, building and activating networks, designing, managing and implementing demanding events and large-scale campaigns.
Overall, within the last 7 years, Militos has organised more than 300 multidimensional events and dissemination actions with more than 75.000 participants, having received many distinctions for the quality of its services, the innovative content, the influence, efficiency and impact of its communication activities, including 2 European awards (DG AGRI), ie. the Special Public CAP Award for the widest outreach in Europe (1st place) and the Award for Innovative Communication in the EU CAP (3rd place) for the LLP project farmsup! on the promotion of agro-entrepreneurship. Innovation Training Center (ITC) is a training and consultancy organization based in Palma de Mallorca (ES) who offers a wide range of services regarding innovative materials and services (R+D+I approach) to promote innovation in learning, entrepreneurship and support to training and education organisations.
We are based in PARC BIT (ParcBit, Parc balear d’innovació tecnològica, http://www.parcbit.es/) a specific park to promote innovation and training in ICT for Young people, adults, companies and SMEs. Our consolidation and experience has allowed us to create our own R & D department for the development and implementation of our own technological projects. Our interdisciplinary team of experts has participated and managed a wide range of R & D projects and has built an intensive networking experience with various private and public organizations: governmental institutions, technology centers and public research organizations at local, regional, national, and European level.
Our team of experts has extensive expertise in the diversity and soft skills training and support activities particularly in the design and development of training, capacity building courses, use of innovative approaches and delivery of training to SME staff proposed in BEYOND INCLUSION. We have been participating in up skilling programmers at national and EU level and we are also experts in mentoring and coaching techniques to support social inclusion.
Association Business Information and Consulting Centre – Sandanski (BICC) is a nongovernmental organisation with more than 23 years of experience in the business and social development, training and mentoring in entrepreneurship, financial consulting and B2B services. Our main operation area covers the region of Southwest Bulgaria, an area with growing economic and social development. In 2008, BICC became a part of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) – a European network that involves more than 600 organizations and 4000 skilled professionals from 40 countries.
BICC provides local companies with business development support, consulting services and international contact. At the same time, the organisation aims to foster cooperation with foreign partners and attract foreign investors in the region. The organisation disseminates targeted information, provides business consulting services, organizes various workshops and other capacity building events for SMEs, foster business cooperation both at cross-border and international level by providing support for participation at matchmaking events and other B2B initiatives, etc.
In the past several years, BICC has implemented and participated and various initiatives related to the promotion of entrepreneurship among young people of the region of Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. Also, through its support schemes (business support, financial and managerial development, internationalization, business cooperation and start-ups). These projects were aimed at improving the skills of a variety of target groups (i.e. young people, women, owners of family businesses, prospective and experienced entrepreneurs, NEETs, people living in rural and isolated communities, etc.). BICC organized and facilitates wide range of training sessions and mentoring circles in small groups to improve entrepreneurial and employability skills, digital and social media skills of people from different ages.
R&Do, based in Cyprus, researches, designs, develops and manages integrated ICT solutions, web-based applications and enterprise software systems. The company specialises in educational online platforms, fostering, in particular, the development of skills of young and adult learners, contributing to vocational training for employability, promoting growth and innovation, supporting different sectors with a focus on entrepreneurship, soft skills and ICT sector.
Among its major clients are: the Benakion Phytopathological Institute (design and development of website and communication strategy; production of various dissemination videos in the frames of the LIFE project “Conops”); Militos Consulting S.A. (websites and campaigns in the frame of EU and non-EU projects and other clients), MSCOMM S.A. (design and production of online platforms supporting the Global Entrepreneurship Week, culturallia.com), the International Association to Save Tyre/ AIST (design and implementation of network community building and platform development).
R&DO is also a direct partner to various co-funded European projects, including the Lifelong Learning Projects Farm inc., Taxistars, Core-VET, High Heels, Pest Practice and the Erasmus+ projects Intraprise, Rooms to VET, Succession, SocialUp, the WineLab, etc., being mainly responsible for e-learning platforms and integrated websites. R&Do team is formed by Senior Developers and Web designers and is well known for their high-quality work and forward-thinking. The company aims to continuous development and commercialization of innovative ideas in the form of products and services, mainly based on ICT.
AEK is the most historic sport club in Greece, a great idea. A symbol of memory with a big tradition of representing athletic activities in Greece and Europe. It all started in 1924. Two years after the Minor-Asia destruction a group consisted of Constantinopolitans living in Athens, decided to establish a club whose purpose would be to remind all of us the lost homelands and a civilization that existed for thousand years, so we never forget. AEK is a multi – sport club having more than thirty (30) sports under the umbrella of the amateur Sports Club, with many distinctions of many athletes and teams internationally (such as fencing, boxing, weight lifting, kickboxing, athletics, etc.), however the most popular and highly distinguished all over Europe and worldwide are the sports of football, basketball and handball.
One of the best clubs in the country, always loyal and faithful to its principles and values. Maintaining academy sections of most Olympic Sports giving equal chances to young people , so they can choose what is best and more suitable for them. The Club’s mission is to create and advance equally all sports. The Club’s vision is to achieve the previous using its own children. What is more, AEK had been always particularly sensitive in social issues.
Driven by its history and responsibility towards millions of fans has designed a versatile action plan in order to provide for the vulnerable social groups.
In order to succeed in our try we are helped in every way from our athletes in all of our clubs and academies.
Non-Profit Civil Partnership “Me Alla Matia”, meaning “with other eyes” in Greek, was founded in June 2018, by the blind lawyer Vaggelis Avgoulas and a group of disabled young people who self-organized with the ultimate goal of claiming inclusion and accessibility through social action.
It was implemented as an afterthought of the unique, fully accessible, news portal meallamatia.gr which started as a blog in 2011 and continues to be an excellent way of promoting the disabled, so that they become more and more visible by society.
Me Alla Matia’s vision is the elimination of the under-representation of disabled people and the dimension of disability in public discourse and in Civil Society. The organization’s main purposes are:
- Providing information, accessibility, social care and support services to socially vulnerable groups and their families
- Defending their rights and needs
- Familiarization of the society with the daily life of the disabled
- Accessibility consulting
- Corporate programs
- Educational, recreational and cultural programs related to disability
Among their social actions are:
- Operation of the accessible, informative, social portal www.meallamatia.gr
- “Live… With Other Eyes“: online shows, with guests discussing social, political, sports and cultural issues, having disability as a common denominator
- Social News Cast, with subtitles and interpretation in sign language
- School Educational Program “See Life With Other Eyes“, licensed by the Ministry of Education
- Organization of the pioneering, experiential “Dinner in the Dark” throughout Greece
- Computer and smartphone lessons for the visually impaired, e-learning
Me Alla Matia addresses the following target groups: Disabled people, people with chronic illnesses, socially vulnerable groups and their families, as well as employees, professionals, volunteers and students in the field of disability and related subjects and of course, the General Public.
Romanian Association of Applied Psychopedagogy (ARPA) is a non-profit organization, consisting of experts in the field of psychology and educational sciences, with the aim of supporting people with special needs and their families, teachers and other specialists (vocational counsellors, occupational therapists, psychotherapists) in order to reach the optimal potential of their personal and professional development.
ARPA aims is to improve the situation of people with special needs who have social, educational disadvantages and disabilities (physical, sensory, intellectual) in all areas of social, cultural and educational life.
ARPA works and supports the integration of disadvantaged people and people with disabilities into social, educational, assistive and physical environment by improving communication skills and social skills, sharing experiences.
ARPA members and volunteers are cultivating the values of democracy, developing civic attitudes and behaviors, non-discriminatory towards people with special needs, by initiating and evaluating policies: promoting respect, equal opportunities, positive approach.
Main aims of ARPA are:
- Development of the local community through volunteer projects;
- Personal development of the beneficiaries of the association – people with special needs (people with autism, people with intellectual disabilities, people with learning disorders, physical disabilities and sensory disabilities);
- Professional development of specialists working with children with special needs: educators, teachers, school psychologists, educational counsellors, speech therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists;
- Promoting the social integration and inclusion of people with special needs;
- Promoting non-discrimination and equal opportunities for people with special needs;
- Providing assistance to reach non-formal education and non-directive therapeutic methods for children that are most in need of support;
- National and international cooperation.
